Dynamic Moving Solutions delivers professional moving services in full compliance with federal and local laws, transportation regulations, and strict internal safety standards. To safeguard the health, property, and peace of mind of our clients—and to remain within legal requirements—we do not transport certain categories of items.
Please note that Dynamic Moving Solutions cannot be held responsible for damage, loss, or issues caused by packing or attempting to move prohibited or discouraged items. We encourage all clients to review and follow these guidelines when preparing for a move.
Item Categories for Moving
1. Strictly Prohibited Items
These items are completely banned from transportation under federal regulations, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules:

- Explosive materials (e.g., fireworks, ammunition)
- Flammable liquids (e.g., gasoline, solvents, large quantities of paint)
- Gas cylinders and compressed gases (e.g., propane tanks, oxygen tanks)
- Toxic chemicals and radioactive substances
- Live animals, live plants, and perishable goods requiring special conditions — unless prior arrangements are made
2. Items Not Recommended for Transport
These items may only be transported under special conditions or using personal vehicles:
- Antiques and high-value items without adequate insurance coverage
- High-value musical instruments sensitive to temperature fluctuations
- Electronic devices such as servers and computers, which are at risk of damage during transport
- Flammable household products like alcohol-based solutions and aerosol sprays
3. Items Not Recommended by Moving Carriers
In addition to prohibited items, movers commonly identify certain goods that they do not transport due to safety or practical concerns:
- Food stored in glass jars (risk of breakage)
- Weapons such as firearms or swords (strict regulation and liability issues)
- Perishable products including frozen or dried foods (susceptible to spoilage without refrigeration)
4. Recommended for Personal Transport
To minimize risk and ensure safety, the following items are best transported personally by the owner:
- Jewelry, cash, and other valuable documents
- Personal medications and medical devices
- Small electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets
- Fragile souvenirs, photographs, and irreplaceable family heirlooms
Client Recommendations

- Always consult with your moving company’s manager or representative before packing to clarify the transportability of specific items.
- Remove all strictly prohibited items from your shipment to avoid delays and legal issues.
- For items that movers do not recommend transporting, consider using a personal vehicle or arranging separate transportation.
Compliance with these guidelines ensures a safe and efficient move, reduces the risk of property damage, and fully meets the requirements of U.S. federal regulations.
If needed, this can be slightly extended or formatted for formal documents or client communications.
